My Approach
Hi, I’m Megan, and therapy with me probably looks a little different than you’d expect.
“Come as you are, from wherever feels most like home. We'll figure out the rest together.”
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 10 years of experience. I’m also trained in EMDR, DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, Solutions-Focused Therapy, Experiential Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, and Family Systems work. But honestly? What matters more than any credential is this: I genuinely love my clients, and I will show up for you every single time.
Therapy from your own safe space
Here’s something I love about virtual therapy: you get to decide where you feel most comfortable. Your couch. Your car. Your favorite chair with a cup of coffee. That sense of safety and comfort isn’t just a nice bonus, it’s actually part of the work. When you’re in a space that already feels like yours, it’s easier to open up, go deeper, and show up as your full self.
I do the majority of my work virtually, and I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it can be. No commute, no waiting room nerves, no having to pull yourself together before you walk through a door. Just you, in your space, doing real work with someone who genuinely cares.
For clients local to Palm Beach County, I also offer in-person and community-based sessions: walks, local parks, libraries, or wherever feels comfortable for you. Because sometimes getting out of the house and into the world is exactly the kind of shift that makes the work click.
Inside the session, here’s what you can expect
I’m direct, but I lead with warmth. I’ll laugh with you when something is funny and sit with you when it’s not. I use creative tools like life mapping to help you see your own story from a new angle, and I’ll always adapt my approach to meet you exactly where you are. No scripts. No one-size-fits-all. Just real, consistent, thoughtful support.
For my clients navigating trauma, know that you are in deeply safe hands. I am trauma-informed to my core and certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a highly researched, powerfully effective therapy that helps your brain actually process traumatic memories at a neurological level. Trauma may always be a part of your story, but with the right support, it doesn’t have to be as loud, as heavy, or as disruptive as it once was.
For my clients in recovery, I go beyond sobriety. We look at the patterns underneath: the relationships, the coping strategies, the identity questions, because real recovery is about building a life you actually want to live, not just white-knuckling it.
For my college students, I offer specialized support for executive functioning: the stuff nobody teaches you. Managing your time, staying organized, regulating your emotions when everything feels like it’s coming at you at once. Whether you’re struggling academically, socially, or just trying to figure out who you are, I’ve got you.

Outside the Office
A lot of people spend years just getting by, managing, surviving, holding it together. I want more than that for you. Whether you’re finally ready to dig into something you’ve been carrying for a long time, or you’re just a little curious and not sure where to start, my door is open.
Come as you are, from wherever feels most like home. We’ll figure out the rest together.
